 This
was the first Mercedes I ever bought and it changed my life forever!
It is a 1989 300E light blue metallic on gray MB tex interior. It
originally came from Arizona and was very clean. In this picture you
can see that I added a 3 piece AMG style 17x8 wheel and H&R sport springs
with step one pads and one coil cut off the springs. I also painted
both bumpers and impact strips body color. A 1991 300E license panel
piece was also added (not in this picture but in the last picture).
 I was on my way to adding the complete
lower rocker panel update kit (from the 1990 model) and had just
painted/installed the side skirts when I traded the car in on a BMW M3
(mistake!)
 For the front, I painted the mirror
covers, grill and headlight wiper arms body color. Was quite an
improvement in over all appearance. I also added gray side markers.
 For
the rear, the car was de-badged and I added a AMG emblem in the lower right
corner. You can also see the euro tail lights (clear blinkers instead
of amber) and the universal Remus exhaust I installed. The Remus hung
down too low and I did not really like the look of that. I had a small
sound system in the car and really no other mods to speak about.
