2phast Motorsports specializes in custom mirror solutions for older Mercedes automobiles.


Prior to 1996, most Mercedes did not come with a auto dimming rear view mirror.  There were some available as dealer add-ons, but most owners never knew this.  Very few of these factory auto dimming mirrors were installed, so its very rare to see one in person. 

Our products provide numerous features (depending upon the model)  and include; auto dimming, Homelink, amber colored compass and integrated on/off capability.  We utilize the model specific factory mirror bracket modified to fit these auto dimming mirrors.  All wiring runs internal to the mirror/bracket and connections are very simple; just connect a switched 12 volt power and ground and then plug the wiring harness into the Molex style quick disconnect of the mirror. 

Visibility is roughly the same as your original mirror and the look/feel of the new mirror is period correct for your classic Mercedes.

Currently we offer mirrors for all years of the W124, W201, W126, R107 & W123 series.

NOTE:  The brackets used in these conversions and the auto dimming mirrors are not new, they are pre-owned items which are refurbished, cleaned and fully checked for proper functionality.  While we do our best to make these appear "factory new" please keep in mind that prior signs of use may be present.

Warranty: We stand behind our products, so if you should experience any issues we will gladly repair the mirror at no cost.  You would be responsible to pay for shipping both ways.  Damage due to improper handling, installation or accidents are not normally covered under our warranty program but we will assess the mirror damage upon return and make a decision based on the level of damage and amount of work required to make the repair. 

Included with each mirror is a packet of installation connectors, wiring harness and installation tool.  Detailed installation instructions, Homelink programming guide and compass calibration/setup instructions are available via download from this page. 

IMPORTANT:  Homelink only operates on the frequencies of 286-399 MHz (FCC restricts several bands between 322 and 335 MHz).  If your outside of the USA, make sure your garage door/gate system operates within these frequencies.  420-433 MHz systems are not compatible with these Homelink mirrors.  Also, if your garage door uses the Security+ 2.0 radio system (e.g. Liftmaster 8360/8550 etc.) you will need to purchase a Homelink Repeater kit that will convert the 310 MHz Security+ to 315 MHz Security+ 2.0, only then will my Homelink mirrors control your garage door.
